Cryptography

Postby roelofwielinga » May 28th, 2014, 9:34 am

In my experience people still are a little ignorant in matters concerning their privacy. Not to mention the privacy of their customers or clients.
Wouldn't it be a relieve to secure emails that consist sensitive data? We could use some sort of cryptography in emails that contain client-data. I was looking at http://www.gpg4win.org/about.html. They have a plugin for MS-outlook. Maybe it could be implemented in the email-module as well? :-&

Thanks for the suggestion Roelof.

If lots of people requested it then it might be something we would consider, however at present it seems like none of the main email clients (Outlook, Windows Mail, Thunderbird etc.) have a standardised way if introducing cryptography into emails, hence it's not something we're in a hurry to pursue.
