Automatic Log off System

Postby Kylie Scoliosis SOS » July 8th, 2011, 11:06 am

Scoliosis SOS is a medical clinic and we currently use Clinic office to store all of our patient's data. All of our patients information is confidential and we have recently requested for an automatic log off system to be put into place.

This would mean that if a member of staff was logged onto the system and did not use it for a set amount of time, say for example 20 minutes then you would be automatically logged off. We feel this would help protect our patient’s information from being accessed by anyone except the password holder.

It would also prevent members of staff from using other people's accounts. If anybody works in a medical environment and feels that this would be of benefit to their practice, please let me know.

Thanks for the suggestion. I can confirm that it is on our wishlist and will be implemented in due course. In the meantime, did you know that you can achieve the same thing using the built-in Windows screensaver?
