Hi, I am using McAfee VirusScan Enterprise on my computers and have found that the On-Access Scanner slows down ClinicOffice 2005 a lot especially over the network.

Has anyone else experienced this or have any suggestions? What virus software do other ClinicOffice users recommend?

We've done a bit of research and it does seem that quite a lot of McAfee users have experienced similar problems :-

One of the posts suggests that the problem may be mapped-network drives. Perhaps try removing all mapped network drives from your computer and see if that improves things?

Otherwise, not too sure what to suggest apart from trying another virus scanner. Until recently, we used Norton Antivirus and have now changed to BitDefender (www.bitdefender.com).

Do any other users have any comments about AntiVirus software?

Hi I use AVG Server version and Professional .....cheap to buy and no problems ......support for 2 yrs before renew A nice piece of software to use with a simple easy to use interface...
