Ever since I have updated to the latest version of clinic office, I am unable to access my patient's clinical history.

When I click on clinical history, I get an error message from Windows saying that it has denied access to the database/visnote which is situated in the shared documents folder.

The way I have setup my computer (XP home) is that I have utilised the multi profile capability of Win XP so that I have a profile for my private use and one for clinic use. The clinic profile initially only had limited privilege and my private one had adminitrative privilege. However, I tried changing the clinic profile to admistrative privilege when I had the error message whilst clinic office attempted to accessing 'visnote' in the clinic office folder to no prevail.

Please help ASAP.

Hi,

If you are getting the "Windows has denied access" message, then it means that your windows file sharing is broken.

Please see this FAQ on how to fix it :-
